佩芮酒莊 VINA PEREZ CRUZ

佩芮酒莊座落在智利最精華最著名的葡萄酒產區-瑪依坡谷地裡的Huelquén，在首都聖地牙哥南方45公里。此地是由安地斯山脈山腳的丘陵所圍繞，氣候為冬濕涼夏乾熱的地中海型氣候，秋季幾乎不下雨，因此葡萄不僅可以達到極好的成熟度，同時也不用擔心會有發霉、腐爛或其他病害，儼然是非常理想的優質葡萄酒產地。其葡萄園的土壤主要是含有礫石的沖積土，這是古早時期冰河自安地斯山沖刷下來的，排水性非常良好。酒莊慎重評估過葡萄園的各項條件之後，慎選最合適的品種來種植合適的土地；現在他們140公頃的葡萄園種植的品種有：Cabernet Sauvignon、Carmenère、Merlot、Syrah、Cot (也就是Malbec)以及Petit Verdot 。

In the middle of the last century, Pablo Perez Zanartu, a distinguished Chilean businessman and public figure, bought Liguai in Huelquen State, in teh foothill of Los Andes in the Maipo Alto Valley. In the early 90s, considering the climate and soil excellence of Liguai, Mr. Pablo's descendants decided to carry on the family values by creating a project in memory of their father. This is the beginning of Vina Perez Cruz.

The vineyards are situated in the Maipo Alto Valley, 45 kilometers South East from Santiago, Chile, among the foothill of Andes Mountains. This area has a Mediterranean kind of climate: rainy winters with moderated low temperatures; summer is dry with moderated high temperatures. Spring is mild with occasional frosts and little rainfall, while autumn is also mild with rare late showers. These conditions are ideal for wine making vine crops, because as the grape grows and ripens in absence of rain, there is no humidity conditions for fungus, bacteria and other diseases. So, it's an excellent place for healthy grapes production.

The Liguai farm in Heulquen, has colluvial alluvial soils, formed from fluvial glaciers originated material as a consequence of water coming down from Los Andes mountains. There are piedmont soils with high rock presence, very good draining and low nutrients level, all essential characteristics for fine wine grapes production. Besides, the soils are very deep, with no problem of surface ground water presence, which encourages the development of the vine's system.

The principal aim was to produce fine wines, with a proper identity, but that expressed all the qualities of the Maipo Alto, the birth place of Chilean premium red wines. The most suitable red varieties to the natural conditions of the land were selected and planted. At the same time, the winery building was constructed, with high technologic standards but designed to harmonize with the natural landscape. All this is reflected in its perspectives and in the main building material.
