PORTA WINERY 波塔酒廠

1954年，Gutierrez-Porta家族從西班牙遷移到智利歷史古城Rancagua南方的Cachapoal山谷，並取得了180公頃優質園地，但自1991年開始，她們決定以Casa Porta的品牌銷售酒廠產品，成為智利首批精緻型酒廠之一。

1997年，Corpora Vineyard & Winery S.A. 購下Porta酒廠，在新的管理下，Porta的最高生產原則為重視葡萄園的風土條件，釀製品質專業的頂級葡萄酒。Porta酒廠再致力四個著名產區均有其葡萄園：Aconcagua, Casablanca, Maipo以及Bio Bio。這些山谷各具有不同的氣候與土壤，Porta酒廠故可因地而栽種不同品種的葡萄，並運用現代農業科技生產出低量的葡萄，釀造為風味醇厚的葡萄酒。 

Porta winery was established in 1954, when the Gutierres-Porta family arrives from Spain. The family settles in the Cachapoal valley, south of the historical city of Rancagua. They acquire 180 Ha of prime land, planting their first vineyards. Initially, the family sells its wines to traditional Chilean wineries, but in 1991 they decide to launch its own range of wines under the name “Casa Porta”, becoming one of the first boutique wineries in Chile. In 1997, Corpora vineyards & Winery S.A. acquires Porta. Under new management, Porta develops a new orientation for the winery, based on the concept of “terroir” and aiming for production of fine wines oriented to the knowledgeable consumer.

Paying special attention to wine appellations, Porta begins the year of 1998 having vineyards, in four of the main winemaking regions of Chile: Aconcagua, Maipo, Rapel and Bio-Bio valley. Each valley has special characteristics that enhance the quality of a particular vine stock. In these valleys, Porta has placed grape varieties such: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Carmenere, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir.
