酒質/Tasting Notes:這款酒的葡萄原料完全採自獨立莊園Fizzano的葡萄園,此地段特別適合出產高品質的酒。完全以人工採收方式,採收完的葡萄用8公斤的藍子裝著,去梗後被放置在溫控的不鏽鋼槽中做酒精發酵,再經過二次乳酸發酵過程後,被放置在100%法國橡木桶中熟成約14個月。放置在30%新、70%使用過一年的橡木桶,其他的葡萄品種是80%新的橡木桶。裝瓶後的葡萄酒會在瓶中待至少三個月才會被釋放到市面上銷售。高貴亮麗的一款經典奇揚地,深紅色,柔順的果香,有李子、漿果香,還有隱約的烤吐司香氣。飽滿厚實的酒體,有漿果香與巧克力的味道,單寧柔順,尾韻悠長。這款酒通常在採收後的18個月會才上市,根據不同的年份在2-4年內達到成熟穩定,有十年的陳年潛力。 
The grapes are carefully selected in the vineyards,  and harvested in 8 kilo crates. They are destemmed, they are not crushed, then they are conveyed into temperature controlled stainless steel vats, where alcoholic fermentation and maceration take place. Macerations last about 12 days for the Sangiovese, and up to 20 days for the other cépages.  After completing a full malolactic fermentation, the wine is transferred into barriques. The oak is 100% French, and comes from Allier, Châtillon, Nevers, and Tronçais. It is 30% new and 70% one year old or two year old for the Sangiovese. It is 80% new for the other cépages. The various cépages undergo separate élevage. The wine is regularly racked and

tasted during the whole barrel maturation, which may last up to 14 months. At the end of the élevage, the the best lots are selected through extensive tasting, and they are assembled to create the final blend. After bottling, the wine rests for at least three months
before release. The wine is released around 18 months after harvest. Depending on the vintage, it may reach its  maturity between 2 and 4 years after harvest. The plateau lasts at least 10 years after harvest. Querciabella is bottled and packaged exclusively in the following formats: 0.750 liter [12 or 6 bottle cardboard box]; 1.5 liter [1 bottle - wooden case]; 3 liter [1 bottle - wooden case]; 5 liter [1 bottle - wooden case] are made.

    嘉斯貝拉酒廠 Agricola Querciabella Spa 

    Agricola Querciabella酒廠,是由一位相當愛好葡萄酒,也收集葡萄酒的Giuseppe Castiglioni先生創立於1970s年代。他精心挑選了座落於義大利托斯卡尼奇揚第產區Greve東邊350-450公尺高的山坡地,開始種植釀製葡萄酒,從最初只有1公頃的園地,到交給兒子Sebastiano Castiglioni接手經營後,發展至今已有23公頃是種植葡萄樹。酒廠的名字Querciabella,意指“美麗的橡樹”,象徵莊園所在地區種植的許多橡樹。經過數年經驗的累積,Agricola Querciabella已經成為Chianti Classico的指標。除了依該產區所規定的DOC評級標準,要使用至少80% Sangiovese葡萄品種,他們生產了Querciabella (除了80% Sangiovese,還加了15% Cabernet Sauvignon、5% Merlot),另外也生產了三款IGT等級的酒,這幾款酒分別為Camartina (混合Cabernet Sauvignon、Sangiovese與Merlot,第一個生產年份是1981)、Batar (混合Chardonnay與Pinot Blanc的白酒,第一個生產年份是 1998,獲評為托斯卡尼最優的白酒)、Palafreno (混合Merlot與Sangiovese,第一個生產年份是 2000),僅只在相當好的年份做限量生產。

Agricola Querciabella: the aim of perfection Querciabella was founded at the start of the 70ies by Giuseppe Castiglioni, a huge wine enthusiast and extraordinary collector of wine.The great French wines were his shining example, and wanting to produce his own wine he find an ideal location high up in the hills east from Greve in Chianti, a place where many oak trees grow, and this was at the origin of the name of the estate (Querciabella means beautifull oak tree. It revealed to be an exceptional terroir, at a rather high altitude (350-450 m.) for the Chianti Classico area, with an excellent exposition. Through the years Querciabella became a reference in Chianti. Querciabella aimed to become part of the small circle of standard-bearing Italian wines, and the highest awards are attributed to the wines in the specialised press. Besides the Chianti Classico, Querciabella produces since the 80ies also wines classified as IGT Toscana, made with less than 80% sangiovese (as required by the DOC Chianti Classico): the Camartina ( first vintage 1981), Batar (white, first vintage 1998) and Palafreno (first vintage 2000). These wines are only produced if the vintage allows to reach a very high quality.
