本酒莊位居Médoc產區的北部，葡萄園有45公頃，土壤是石灰石、黏土和礫石的混合，配合葡萄園的土質種植的品種為Merlot 50%、Cabernet Sauvignon 45%、Cabernet Franc 和 Petit Verdot 5% 。浸皮發酵程序長達21天，發酵完成的酒會經過12到18個月的橡木桶中陳年；他們的葡萄酒會經過適度的澄清處理，但是不經過濾處理。
這款酒是慎選園中老樹的果實釀製的，其風格是芳香細緻，在年輕時就怡人好喝。2009年份呈現的外觀是明亮的深紅寶石色；聞起來有濃郁成熟的黑色漿果果香，和甘草、香料的氣味。其口感圓潤柔順，單寧非常成熟細緻；香味複雜，同樣也呈現了甜美的漿果香為主的味道。
The wine is never filtered. Clarification is made by decantation, first tank, then oak barrels for 12 to 18 months where the wine is regularly drawn to eliminate the lees that settle. In the end, the wine is clear for bottling.

The assembly is made with a higher proportion of Cabernet Merlot that (depending on the year, nature does not always have the same generosity). Château La Gorce is a classic wine of the Medoc developed in accordance with the tradition handed down by our parents and optimized for modern hardware.

    高斯堡 CHATEAU LA GORCE

    高斯堡(Ch. La Gorce)的歷史始於1821年，一位Gorse夫人將原本古老的農舍改建為漂亮的建築，並在這裡致力於生產葡萄酒四十年，本酒莊也因此以她的名字命名。1980年Raoul Fabre一家成為新的主人，為本酒莊重新注入活力，更新過的釀酒設備讓本酒莊的產品品質提升不少；現在本酒莊由第二代的Denis Fabre負責釀造和經營。在2003年官方發布的中級酒莊(Cru Bourgeois)名單中，本酒莊也榮登榜上。
    It is in 1821 that the farm took its final shape with the construction of a beautiful chartreuse, under the leadership of Mrs. GORCE. She was able to give 40 years a special impetus to this field whose production reached nearly 100 tons.
    It chanced that Fabre was then owner for 4 years The 30s were the dark years where the hybrid and white were selling more than the Medoc.
